Marilyn R. Collins OBITUARY

PORTSMOUTH – Marilyn Rita Collins, 94, of the 200 block of Navajo Trail passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024 in her home. She was born on July 1, 1930 in Somerville, Massachusetts to the late George and Charlotte Parker. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles & Berkley Aerie Ladies Auxiliary #795 for 50+ years and loved watching her children’s, grandchildren’s and great grandchildren’s sporting events.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Collins; and a brother, Richard Parker.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Cheryl Selby, Debbie McCarty (Kev) and Rita Underwood (Chico); two sons, Thomas Collins (Linda) and Danny Collins (Patricia); eight grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles & Berkley Aerie Ladies Auxiliary #795, 521 Maple Street, Chesapeake, VA 23324.
