Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital recently held an open house for its newly renovated pediatric wing for children with multiple, complex medical conditions or unique physical challenges that require specialized nursing care. The unit has 25 beds clustered within four “care pods,” each decorated in different colors and playful undersea motifs, with new furnishings and hospital bedding, improved wireless equipment connectivity and environmental amenities such as programmable digital lighting and additional, larger windows that allow increased amounts of natural light.
