The Lafayette boys soccer team won the Class 3 state championship on Saturday, June 8, 2024. 
Lafayette got the only goal it needed with 12 minutes to play in the first half on a header by sophomore Jack Troy, and it held up for a victory over Western Albemarle as the Rams won the first state title in program history.
