W.M. Jordan Development, Colliers and Isle of Wight County Economic Development announced the start of construction of 460 Commerce Center in Isle of Wight County’s Shirley T. Holland Intermodal Park.

The planned facility at 12375 William A. Gwaltney Way in the county’s 1,200-acre industrial park near Windsor will have roughly 350,000 square feet of light industrial manufacturing and warehouse space, according to a news release. The speculative building is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2025.

Newport News-based W.M. Jordan Development designed the concrete tilt-wall building with features in demand by cargo owners, third-party logistics firms and Port of Virginia customers.

“We look forward to attracting quality tenants who can join Keurig Dr Pepper, World Market, and Safco as employers in Isle of Wight County,” said Skip Smith, senior vice president with W.M. Jordan Development.

Colliers is handling the marketing and leasing for the project.
