A second man has died following last week’s shooting on Bagnall Road, Norfolk Police announced Wednesday.
Officers responded to the 900 block of Bagnall Road around 4:45 p.m. on June 20 when they heard gunshots nearby and found a 23-year-old man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound in the 800 block of Bagnall Road. He was taken to hospital for treatment and later released.
Moments later, officers found two additional men suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds in the 700 block of Chapel Street.
One of the men, identified as Javid K. Williams, 19, of Norfolk, was pronounced deceased at the scene as a result of his injuries.
The other, later identified as Maurice Stowe, 29, of Norfolk, passed away in the hospital on Tuesday as a result of his injuries.
