Police in Norfolk are investigating a shooting on Rugby Street that left a man with serious injuries.
Police said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, that officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Rugby Street, off Tidewater Drive, for reports of the shooting at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
At the scene, emergency services found a man with life-threatening injuries. He was transported to the hospital.
The shooting is under investigation.
