Early voting is open now through June 15 and voters can cast ballots in person at their local registrar’s office or by mail. Here’s what you need to know to vote early.

Races on the ballot in November include one of Virginia’s U.S. Senate seats and all 11 House of Representatives seats. But not every seat will have a primary election in June.
Races with primaries in Hampton Roads include the Republican primary for a U.S. Senate seat, the Democratic primary for the 1st Congressional District, and the Democratic primary for the 2nd Congressional District.

The guide covers only candidates running in competitive primary races for the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives seats representing Hampton Roads. Uncontested races and independent candidates are not included. A separate election guide will be published for the general election.
