Norfolk State coach Dawson Odums named JUCO transfer Jalen Daniels the Spartans' starting quarterback on Sunday. Daniels beat out incumbent starter and preseason All-MEAC player Otto Kuhns for the job. Kuhns will have to sit out the first four games due to an NCAA ruling, Odums said.
