‘Alien: Romulus’ review: A largely scary tribute to what’s come before it

The fifth installment in the “Alien” saga, “Romulus” takes us back to the far future after the two Scott-directed prequels, “Prometheus” (2012) and “Alien: Covenant” (2017), to a time when human colonies have popped up on other planetary bodies.
